Why complement (or choose) Barracuda?

What is the difference between Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Barracuda Email Protection?
Microsoft Defender (included in certain M365 plans) handles spam and known malware adequately. It falls short on:
- Targeted phishing (spear-phishing impersonating an executive)
- CEO fraud (urgent transfer requests impersonating the CFO)
- Brand impersonation (fake "Microsoft" emails requesting password re-entry)
